GOP senators whisked away in Madison bus after vote
Protesters followed vehicle, video shows

............

Madison — Amid unprecedented protests, Republican lawmakers have at times been escorted by officers out of the Capitol through a tunnel - and in one case this week were given their own bus to get away from demonstrators.

Shortly after abruptly voting to sharply curtail collective bargaining for public employees, senators boarded a Madison city bus and Capitol Police Chief Charles Tubbs stationed himself near the driver to tell him where to go, according to video from the bus released Friday.

They boarded the bus after they were taken through a tunnel under W. Main St. that leads to the Risser Justice Center.

Protesters quickly surrounded the bus, banged on it and briefly followed it as it drove away from the Capitol.

1. MORE OF THIS! MORE OF THIS!
Being "polite" is not getting anywhere. Just because you need to be peaceful, eoesn't mean you have to be a wimp. GET IN THEIR FACE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY. Show them that you're angry about this and will NOT stand for it.

Make these Koch bought politicians pariahs!

4. I hate to say this but.....
Its time to make a stand against these thugs. Anytime any representative be there State or National.... determines to hurt American citizens by votes and lies...its time to stand by "ANY MEANS NECCESSARY". Thay have created war on us so we have to fight back. "WE HAVE NO CHOICE NOW!!!!!!!!!!"

6. Agree. At some point it becomes self defense.........
What that point is becomes an individual decision. But as I said, even if you're not at a tipping point TET, just because you're peaceful doesn't mean you have to be "polite". They don't understand "polite". A bully thinks "polite" is weak.

5. They are cowards -- and when they hide, it's because they know they're wrong.

9. They "were given their own bus"?
Uh, nobody "gives" away a bus. It was paid for by somebody. The Wisconsin taxpayers? No, couldn't be them; they're, like, totally broke. Did the Republican Senators pay for their own bus? I'll go with "No way in fucking hell, Alex." So, who? Who, who, who? Who could it have been that "gave" the Senate Republicans a bus in which they could flee the scene of the crime? I just can't imagine.
