Just out of curiosity--are any M$M covering this Madison stuff?
Or is the blackout continuing?

Awfully nice visual stuff, you'd think, what with the tractor parade and folk singers and Susan Sarandon and all.

2. Not that I've seen - it's all Japan
which I know is a major BFD.

I'd bet if not for the crisis in Japan we still wouldn't be seeing much about Wisconsin. :(

3. I usually don't watch M$M
But turned it on today to see what's going on in Japan. Haven't seen anything regarding Wisconsin.

Never saw much regarding Ohio or Wisconsin on the local news here in the past month, either.

5. At least you've gotten a LOT of coverage on Rachel, Ed, etc.
That's more than what some of us get in a lifetime.

6. As Tip said,
all politics are local. This is making a huge impact where what we see happening will kick the shit out of Walker and the 'Pugs.

All the bordering states are getting this in print and local coverage. :) :bounce:

13. Yes, what's happening locally is really the key
but I still think the blackout by the rest of the media is a travesty.

That would be ideal.

Why would they report on something that could potentially hurt their paymasters?

9. If it was 300 teabaggers
they would be all over it.

But 100 thousand or more Progressives. Oh they can't be bothered by that.

10. No. They got their shiny new object in Japan.
Don't get me wrong, it's a serious matter and we should all donate what we can to help.

But we have problems here that need our attention at this time.

17. Just like the protests against the invasion of Iraq.
No coverage for that, either. But we were fed non stop coverage last summer of the teabag town hall meetings.

19. Sure. That's why the do-it-yourself media are so important.
As happened in Egypt, Americans are discovering how to inform each other in spite of the Plutocracy.

20. The lack of coverage makes it very clear that the American media only feeds us the ...
... selected bullshit it wants us to hear. Fuck the media - it's just propaganda.
