Getting rid of teachers' unions -- |
|
Edited on Sat Mar-12-11 07:09 PM by eilen
a win for Republicans and Arne Duncan? Just thinking that lots of changes that Duncan and his friends (Gates, Bloomberg, Cuomo....) are pushing are changes that unions oppose.
Could that be a reason for the faint support from his boss? ...... in the spirit of... "finding common ground." knowing "everything is on the table."

2. They think that getting rid of teachers unions is going to solve the |
|
money problems but it is going to create an even worse problem. For profit schools are going to make money one way or the other and if we think education has problems now wait until all the good teachers leave. This is no solution.
