Anyone out there plotting probable wind currents - I'm here on the Calif Coast and I have children to think about

It might be time for a vacation in case this thing gets any worse

1. Here are two threads which might be of some interest:

For low-level (non China Syndrome) releases, wind direction (generally): Here is how to find out generally which way the wind is blowing over Fukushima nuke plant

For anything which enters into the Pacific Jet Stream (would happen in China Syndrome style explosive steam plume): How long does it take the Pacific Jet Stream to move from Fukushima to, say, Los Angeles?

Nothing definitive but some good general answers.

Just to be clear, a "China Syndrome" style plume would be caused by a molten core eating through the containment building and either hitting the water table or the ocean, which would produce a huge amount of highly energetic radioactive steam.
