Missouri veteran claiming to be Jesus shoots his parents
SEYMOUR, Mo. (AP) - Webster County authorities say an Army veteran became enraged and shot his mother and tried to shoot his father after they would not acknowledge that he was the reincarnated Jesus.

Sheriff Roye Cole says Zakariah Jacob Evitt was jailed Wednesday on $500,000 bond on two counts of felonious assault and one count of armed criminal action.

Cole says the 26-year-old Evitt, who served in the Army in Afghanistan and Korea, began shooting Tuesday at a home he shared with his parents. He fled and was captured in Greene County.

His father was not injured. His mother was treated and released from a Springfield hospital.

1. I think he disproved his thesis...
or he came back with one of the worst missionary techniques EVER.

but I'm glad his mother is released already.

2. Thank God nobody died.
Cheney and Rumsfeld should be co-defendants at the trial.

4. Would
Jesus be able to get a gun with his prior conviction?
