About 11,000+ people rallied at the capitol in Austin today.

You'd never know it from the close-up shots used by the media, but the crowd filled the front of the capitol. Unions and teachers mostly, plus 200 people carrying red flags marching in the Socialist Contingent.

Times are changing.


Also: I just updated my OP's title because I got word from organizers that the number was well above 11K. They gave red dot stickers to mark every person entering the rally and they went through well over 11,000.

At first I underestimated the crowd size at 8K!

TFT, I believe, is the organizer. It's spring break this week in Texas schools.
