Woman found dead at home of August Busch IV
HUNTLEIGH, Mo | Authorities are investigating the death of a 27-year-old woman whose body was found at the suburban St. Louis home of former Anheuser-Busch CEO August Busch IV.

Police and the St. Louis County medical examiner's office on Thursday identified the victim as Adrienne Martin of St. Charles. An autopsy has been conducted but results could take 4-6 weeks.

Police were called Sunday afternoon to the home in the St. Louis suburb of Huntleigh and found Martin's body. St. Louis County forensic administrator Suzanne McCune says there were no signs of trauma.

Besides being long time Republicans, the Busch family is messed up. A great book about them is:

1. St Louis Post Dispatch Article On This
In 1984, Busch avoided criminal charges after a car crash in Arizona that killed a 22-year-old woman.

The crash occurred on Nov. 13, 1983, outside Tucson, Ariz. Busch, 20 at the time and a student at the University of Arizona, left a bar with the woman and, shortly after, crashed his black Corvette, police said. The woman, Michele Frederick, was thrown from the car. Busch was found six hours later at his home, dazed and bloodied. He had suffered a fractured skull and claimed he had amnesia. Authorities later said his blood alcohol level at the estimated time of the accident had been below the legal level for intoxication in Arizona.

The investigation took seven months, after which authorities declined to press criminal charges, saying there wasn't adequate evidence to do so. They said the investigation took so long because of the "high profile" of the Busch family and because family lawyers had fought the taking of hair and fiber samples from Busch.

12. Oh, so HE did the first "Lizzie Lam"
When publicist and poor little rich girl Lizzie Gruber crash her SUV into a crowd at a nightclub after referring to them as "trash", she was found at an ex-boyfriend's house an hour later, where she'd been joined by a lawyer. She copped a plea that did not involve drunken driving since it was too late to get an accurate blood test.

2. Interesting...
KC newspaper is a little different than the St. Louis Post. They are all over the "nothing suspicious here" angle.
Also interesting this happened Sunday.

7. Are any of the family members popular?
I've followed them for years. I was under the impression that they weren't very well liked in St Louis.

14. I have family living in the area
I had the impression that the older members of the family - such as Gussie - were liked a bit better than the current crop.

9. Apparently not a "Dexter" fan, or he'd know how to get rid of the body.
A cry for help, perhaps?

10. "August Busch IV"
Pretty fancy monicker for a beer factory boss. Probably wouldn't be caught dead consuming his own product.

11. The Busch family sold their interests in Anheiser-Busch
to a Belgian international beverage company in 2007, I think.

15. I hate when that happens

It's especially obnoxious when I find them on Friday, since there is no pick-up until Wednesday, and things can get a little... fresh, if you have this common household problem.

And then they argue with me about which recycling bin to use. Arrrgh.
