I am disgusted with the abysmal lack of transparency in Japan, with the official obfuscations. I am disgusted when I read that the toothless IEA was "begging" Japan for details. What the hell is that about? It's ridiculous that the Japanese decide what the rest of the world gets to know.

The UN should have a mandate to convene a panel of experts including those who are critics of nuclear energy to monitor responses to nuclear accidents and ensure transparency.
