It's the holidays. People are either shopping, traveling, visiting family, or scrounging around under the couch cushions looking for the remote control so they can watch the last few days of Discovery Health Channel before it becomes the all-Oprah/Dr.Phil/Suzy Orman/hideous reality TV-all-the-time-channel. :evilgrin:

13. Yup, and it is almost already unbearable.

Every single commercial, they are advertising the change from DHC to OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network. From what I heard she is scrapping many of the shows in favor of lots of reality TV shows. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I will miss Dr. G and Untold Stories of the ER.

I just hope OWN shows her crappy reality show, then goes back to DHC after 60 days of plummeting ratings.

If she comes in and makes drastic changes like they say she is going to do, she will tank the ratings. Discovery kept just enough stock in it that they might could buy her back out later down the road. So, there is hope there.
