Hallucinating in Madison yesterday!!! (warning: mucho pics)
Yesterday in Madison I had the most amazing hallucination. I imagined there were 100,000 people peacefully marching in the street, carrying signs, standing strong against the “tip of the spear” in the corporate takeover of America.

This morning I checked for media reports, both local and national, and was amazed to learn IT NEVER HAPPENED.

What’s even more amazing, is that my camera caught part of my hallucination. Weird, huh?

9. Bertolt Brecht : To Whom Does the World Belong? (Democracy of the I or the We?)
In his poem 'In Praise of the Work of the Party', he says:

'Man has only two eyes;
The Party has a thousand eyes...
Man alone can be annihilated;
The Party cannot be annihilated'.

Threepenny Opera,
Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill's epic opera portraying the shadowy side of 1928 London, upset theatrical conventions with its jazz-influenced score and introduced the popular song, Mack the Knife. NUAMPS recorded the Northwestern University School of Music's production of Threepenny Opera in HD on November 17, 2006. The opera was directed by Noel Koran, Director of Opera at the School of Music.

- Whither Germany? ENGLISH SUBTITLES VERSION Kuhle Wampe ( the full title is Kuhle Wampe oder Wem gehört die Welt) is a German feature film, released in 1932, about unemployment and left wing politics in the Weimar Republic.
The title refers to a tent camp in the countryside near to Berlin.

The script was conceived and written by Bertolt Brecht.
He also directed the concluding scene: a political debate between strangers on a tram about the world coffee market.
The rest of the film was directed by Slatan Dudow.

The impact of this black and white film is enhanced by the cinematography of Gunther Krampf and a musical score by Hanns Eisler.

I see Anderson Cooper is in Japan. First he went to Egypt & now he's in Japan. Guess his frequent flier miles didn't cover a trip to Madison. :eyes:

27. Wow - so weird to see signs spelled correctly, references to Machiavelli, etc...
It should be clear who made up the protesters.

Highly intelligent folks with intelligence and degrees.

It's about time we (US, not DU) stopped celebrating stupid, and celebrated folks like these.

I and three other members of my family hallucinated those same signs.

Weird!

And we hallucinated Jesse Jackson and Tony Shalhoub, too.
