1. she has this habit of trying to elicit black and white answers about subjects that aren't |
|
she's going on and on about "are the buildings secure" with James Lee Witt right now.
and that's the other thing, she'll ask a really simplistic question, her expert will give a detailed answer, and she'll ask the same question again a little bit later (still simplistic).
she's one of the worst interviewers i've seen --i don't know how she's been doing this for CNN for 20 years.

2. Unbelievable attitude. I guess |
|
if she can poke a hole in their "preparedness" for earthquakes, she will feel let off the hook in donating any assistance tithe Japanese.

From BBC World twitter earlier today:
# 1142: Catching up with a couple of details from Naoto Kan's announcement, where he gave an idea of the scale of the rescue operation under way. Alongside up to 100,000 troops being deployed to stricken areas there are 2,500 police, more than 1,100 emergency service teams, and more than 200 medical teams, he said.
They were prepared.

9. Crowley - I remember the 2004 campaign. |
|
she stood around the corner while huge Kerry rallies were going on. She reported on "thousands" who were there. They couldn't let people know that people liked the guy. It was telling.

11. I highly suggest turning off CNN. If you want to find out what's going on, watch the |
|
english streams from the NHK stations in japan. It's not sensationalized BS, there's no commercials. In 10 minutes time, you'll get a firm understanding of what is going on there and you can go about the rest of your day.
