Free phone calls to Japan and free Japanese TV channel

Some carriers are offering free phone calls to Japan and free Japanese TV.

Apparently this started on Friday, I just found out about it last night.

Update: We’re Offering Free Calls to Japan Through April 15

Folks, we informed you earlier today that we’re offering the international premium channel TV Japan for free to all digital customers. We have an update on what Time Warner Cable is doing to connect customers with their friends and families in Japan in the wake of a magnitude 8.9 earthquake.

From now through April 15, all calls placed by our Digital Phone and Business Class Phone customers to Japan will be free; the offer is retroactive for all calls made to Japan earlier today.
