When the powers that be talk to us about "shared sacrifice"
Who are we sharing it with besides each other?

Last time I check the Bush tax give-aways to the wealthy were still in place.
CEO's who caused this mess are still enjoying their taxpayer funded millions in bonuses.

What do our political leaders mean when they say "shared"?

7. When FDR asked for shared sacrifice, guess what--Businesses
contributed their fair share, Elites gave their fair
shair. (Sure they screamed and yelled and some Republican
refused to call him by name. They instead referred to
him as "that man in the White House".

Oh yes I forget--back then Business had allegiance to
this country and felt responsibility no matter if they
despised its President. When the President needed money
for the War--guess what the Richest came forth with funds
separate and apart from their taxes.

Anyway, with everyone paying accord to their means this
country moved forward and we built a middle class in this
country.

Today all I hear is we must cut the taxes of the rich
Heck, Walker cut Higher ED, Seniors and Medicaid to
pay for Millions of TAX CUTS FOR BUSINESSES.

National Republicans insisted on extending the tax cuts for
the rich and keep yipping about Cutting Corporate TAXES.

My point is SHARED SACRIFICE means everyone in this country
participating and it also means Big Business getting a
little Economic Patriotism.
