Things just got A LOT better at the Fukushima nuclear plant... |
|
Now they only have 4 reactors on site, and only one that might blow up because it wasn't already shut down when the original quake hit!
And folks, don't forget, they have everything under control.
Explosions are supposed to happen at nuclear power plants in the event of an emergency, it's a sign things are going alright!
Just breath normally, and try to pretend you don't shit normally during one of these things, if you should be anywhere near Japan.

5. Oh, but, nuclear power is safe. |
|
They still have the reactor containment inside of the building that was supposed to be impenetrable. That is, if you can believe a word of what they're saying right now, and I don't think you can!

Thank god we have the corporate and state controlled news media to soothe our fears. I'm much too ignorant and had thought that explosions at nuclear power plants were bad things. Turns out they were expecting it. Woohoo!

4. WTF are you trying to say. Maybe you could cut the sarcasm and just say it? |
|
You sound uninformed, so what is the point of your post?
To spread fear and panic?

6. I think containment buildings for nuclear reactors blowing up is doing... |
|
a fair job of spreading fear and panic.
But then again, I'm not a nuclear engineer.

9. Might have been nice to try to spread info without the sarcasm and lack of info. |
|
Otherwise what are you trying to achieve?
We don't need misleading posts at this time to clutter things.
If you knew it was just the building cover, you could have said so.
Why didn't you?

8. You really ought to turn on CNN... |

the reporting deserves every bit of sarcasm. It is pathetic. I don't think the point of this OP was to spread fear and panic. DUers are much too informed to start jumping out of windows until they ascertain the facts. The point of this OP was to highlight the absolute Bullshit we're being fed on TV. I think the problem might be that news readers think they have to have something coming out of their mouths at all times, even if they have no fucking idea what they are saying.

13. That is the precise point of my post. |

I'm absolutely sick and fucking tired of this shit, because I realize the same damn thing will happen in the US when this happens here some day, say if there is an earthquake in California and it fucks with one of their plants.
