2. I expected the Russians to go first
there is no love lost between Rusia and Japan. and due to wind, both the Kuriles and Vladivosok will be under the cloud.

I mean when the Kursk went down... you watched Japanese TV

of course nobody is going over how many rads or milliservs

I am used to rads, but that is ok. I need to investigate the other measure, since Japan is using it

10. 1 rad = 0.01 sieverts
so, with a biological N factor of 1.0, 1 Rem = 0.01 sieverts.

The average person gets 250-350 milirem (mrem) per year, so 300/12 is 25mrem. A chest x-ray is 8-10mrem. A cross country plane flight is 4 mrem.

In metric, this is 2.5-3.5 millisieverts (mSv), so 0.25 mSv.

This is a guess, but likely close.

That is why the Raygun got it. Winds are expect to shift to onshore soon.
