Boycott the Steak Pit in Washburn, Wisconsin!!!
I don't give a "rats-a$$" if the place is owned by a progressive who gave money to Democrats. Any place that hosts this "ass-pickle" ought to be put out of business. It is the only way things are ever going to change.

A hundred-thousand people in the streets for 14 days in the freezing cold won't change the Repuke's behavior, but one large donor who starts losing money getting on the phone will make it stop.

We need to make it "unprofitable" to be an ass-hat Republican today!

"Walker arrived in a convoy of six unmarked police cars that pulled up at 5:45 p.m. to the Steak Pit for a Republican Lincoln Day fundraiser. The large, boisterous crowd, which had been lining the streets leading to the restaurant since 4:30, quickly recognized him and erupted in boos and shouts of “Recall Walker.”

1. You are correct
Wanker and his ilk will continue to do what they do until it hits them where it hurts -- in the bank account. That is what matters most to them.

I'm sure the owner of the Steak Pit wasn't hosting a Lincoln Day dinner -- a tradition puke affair -- because he's a progressive.

2. I think the North Country Pro-Labor forces responded adequately
I'd rather have the Ass-Hat show up and be relentlessy mobbed by unhappy Wisconsinites.

Everything that brings the pro-labor forces together in a united effort against these assaults is a GOOD THING.

3. ... and later in the weekend, he spoke at the Rock Garden in Green Bay
... the Wolf family who owns the Rock Garden (& adjacent hotel) are lonnnnnng standing Republican knuckle-draggers. I wouldn't dine there if it was for a free meal, but only because I know them personally & they are asshats.

That said, I wouldn't 'boycott' a business because ultimately its going to lead to average joe's getting their hours/wages cut.

Keep up the protests at each site and make it logistically uncomfortable and cost-prohibitive for anyone to host "the Walkercade".

4. Don't forget to boycott Harbor View Drive
since he drove on it!

Calling for a boycott evertime someone you are against goes somewhere devaluates the object of a boycott.

6. And this is part of the reason "we" get "walked-on" by the right
Just look at the media for a perfect example. They are so "skittish" because of the simple threat that the "right-wingnuts" would boycott them, that they've completely forgotten how to do journalism in this country.

Until we start doing the same thing...EVEN IF IT IS IN A SCORCHED-EARTH MANNER...nothing will change.

Hell, the "right" has threatened to "shutdown Faux News" when even they have the audacity to stray from the reservation.

Right now, the Repubs (with the assistance of enabling Dems) have done all that they can over the past 30 years to ensure that "money" is the most powerful voice in politics.

The only way we tap into that power is by collectively using our monetary power to tell the pukes that "THIS WILL NOT STAND!"

5. Do they close the entire restaurant down for these things?
If not, I'd say make a reservation for as many people as you can at the same time and bring the protests inside! Sure, you'll be asked to leave pretty much immediately, but it would get the point across.
