is seeing how many people go up and thank the individuals who are carrying those signs. Everyone appreciates how difficult it might be to so publicly admit to having made a mistake.
I try to hug them all.

Most of the time he was perched on a concrete pedestal, kind of looked like some ancient form of punishment - lol. He was there repenting til after sunset!

i suppose it must be some kind of relief to have the scales fall out of one's eyes. it's a whole new world for these people: the real world.

We can't maintain a crowd of that size on a daily basis, but the determination certainly continues!! Every time they pull something shitty, thousands will go right back up to the Capitol. Cheers!

We get the politicians we deserve, particularly when we don't vote.

12. Otoh, had people gone out and elected a Dino, eg, this |

incredible labor movement would never have begun.
Maybe we needed this. Not to just vote for the lesser evil which only maintains the status quo. The voters decided not to do that anymore. To let the chips fall where they may since repeating the same actions over and over again accomplished nothing.
What if a Democratic Governor had done what Walker did? You will have to admit that many in our party would have tried to defend it. But one thing is certain, we would never have seen this kind of activism against a Democrat no matter how angry we all were. We have been asked to be 'realistic' because if we went after a Democrat, it must be because we want Palin or some such nonsense.
I personally think now that this is the best thing to have happened in this country in nearly ten years. Scott Walker has accomplished what we could not do, he has started a Labor Movement which was very, very badly needed.
And I for one am very happy with the outcome of his election.

Nice of you finally to get religion now that Armageddon's over. Where were you guys last November when we were trying to convince you that you were being sold a bill of goods and you were just SURE you knew better?
How long before they forget and go back to dozing off to Pox Noise?
Sorry - just not feeling too sympathetic at the moment. Glad their eyes are open (well, for NOW - but if they got hoodwinked once, they're probably gullible enough to fall for the "right" TV campaign sloganeering again someday) but they're a little too late. I don't have much patience when the injury is self-inflicted. Your timing's just peachy, folks.
