Bill O'Reilly announces second memoir |
|
from :
The bestselling author and news anchor on "The O'Reilly Factor" has signed with New York-based Henry Holt and Co. to write a sequel to his 2008 bestselling memoir "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity."
Holt made the announcement on Monday that "Bolder and Fresher: The Factor Years" will hit bookshelves this fall and offer fans "a behind-the-scenes look at their favorite TV show" along with O'Reilly's views on politics and culture.
You know, when I return a book to the library, I drop it in the return slot, and when I come back later, it's sitting on a shelf. How do you explain that?

8. Great - just great (rant) |
|
I went to Barnes & Noble this weekend and I just have to rant for a moment.
I am so fed up with walking into this bookstore and seeing nothing but republican, conservative, anti government, anti Obama, anti-liberal, garbage books I could scream.
Where are the liberal, democratic, progressive authors? I could not find ONE new book on the shelves from a democratic perspective but on the other hand you could spit in any direction and hit a GOP book. WTF.
Yes, I can buy them from Amazon.com but you know what? I like to walk through a bookstore and browse and find and pay for books. It is as if there IS no other political perspective in the bookstore besides the likes of Glenda Beck, O'Liely, and the GOP.
Al Franken, where are you? Alan Grayson - please write a book! Someone - ANYONE WITH A LIBERAL PERSPECTIVE - PLEASE WRITE SOME FRIGGIN BOOKS! How about a book on how to ORGANIZE for 2012? How about a book on how to counter GOP/Conservative lies, maybe a FACT book?
Ok, I'm done now. Thanks for listening, it really fried my ass this weekend and this was a great opportunity to vent about it.
