says that there was an explosion in the actual reactor containment vessel this time at one of the Fukushima reactors!

That simply doesn't sound good.

It was also on CNN earlier. I will post details when they come.

1. Just saw it myself -

An explosion was heard Tuesday at the unit 2 reactor at Japan's Fukushima Daiichi plant, the country's nuclear safety agency said. Elevated radiation levels following the blast have raised fears that the containment vessel that holds the nuclear fuel has been breached.

An official from the Tokyo Electric Power Co. said the explosion was heard at 6:14 a.m. (5:14 p.m. EST). Radiation levels at the facility rose at the time of the explosion and began to fall soon after.
