DISASTER: Oil Killed the Gulf, Nuclear Power is Radiating the Pacific, Solar... |

burned some guy's hand in Phoenix when he touched a solar collector. Coal is warming the globe with poison smoke. Wind blew a lady's skirt up in Cheyenne.
These terrible terrible accidents are brought to you by the energy industry.
Which ones would you rather have in your back yard?

2. I support wind power, BUT |

improperly sited it can cause problems, too. (and I don't mean blowing skirts up)
If I understand correctly, solar panels involve some nasty chemicals and processes to produce (at least conventionally).
I think 'nasty stuff' as a sunk cost of production with relatively clean operation is far better than 'nasty stuff' as a product of both manufacture and operation (as is the case with nuclear and fossil).
BUT please do not pretend there are no risks or possible downsides with any energy source. It's just that some are less bad than others.

4. Solar power, Wind power and Marijuana |

Three things the masses can't have because the powers-that-be haven't found a way to control the market and profits yet.
