5. ABC was reporting authorities were saying the number 2 reactor's container has been damaged...
Not long after the most recent explosion in that reactor.

16. If it really is a nuclear fuel fire- which we don't know definitively it is- then...
...no. I don't think it can be stopped. Technically, there are substances which might be able to be dumped onto it but with the shape the country is in I doubt even those could be mustered.

From what I understand it's like white phosphorous. It just doesn't quit until it's done. That's what I know, anyway. I am no expert by any means though. But a fuel fire is the worst, AFAIK. I didn't even think that would be a possibility until I started hearing about the spent fuel rods.

And hopefully, hopefully I'm full of shit.

20-30 km STAY INDOORS. Close windows don't use ventilation equipment. Don't take laundry in that is hanging on the line.
