You need a laugh...
I - foolishly - have been posting on some newspaper opinion boards. Hammerheads and astroturfers as far as the eye can see.

Take a look at this exchange. It's worth the read.. trust me...

Years of sitting in front of useless teachers who gave up long ago and having to learn on my own in order to qualify for college admission. My principal asked me why I missed so many classes and I informed him that I am better of studying the texts and learning on my own than wasting my time in front of the useless trash that stood in front of the classroom everyday. He couldn't refute my argument and decided it was best to let me come and go as I please as long as I tested out.

You're right, most of the so-called teachers I had were worthless garbage also, just there for the paycheck and secure job (regardless of results, teachers cannot be fired once they have tenure). But the school is not going to give up ADA money for having your warm butt in a chair.

That "come and go as I please" stuff is very interesting.
First, I flat don't believe you. In 30 years, nobody I know of ever heard that from an administrator. There's legal restrictions on school attendance.
Second, it explains your supercilious (look it up) attitude... "useless trash that stood in front ,,," We just never learned to work and play well with others, did we? That attitude must serve you well in the world of work. I'll bet a lot of your bosses are "trash", too.
Third, coming and going as you please... I'll bet you didn't broaden your horizons very much... didn't learn about any new subject you didn't think you would like, but might like if you had the exposure.

You sure showed that school, didn't you.

With three batchelors degrees under my belt and a great job that I love, no thanks to my primary teachers, you couldn't be more wrong.

GOOD GOD MAN! Bachelor's is spelled without a "t", and with an apostrophe. Where did you get those degrees?... in a cereal box?

Also... those worthless teachers you were talking about were your "primary" teachers? You mean from kindergarten thru about 4th grade? Wow... where did you go to school? Nazi Germany?

I had nuns for my elementary years. Sister Mary Steel Ruler worked out on me a few times, but it didn't make me as bitter as you seem to be. Then I went to a Jesuit High School... you know, the Jesuits.. also known as the Special Forces of the Catholic Church. Then I went into the Marines.

And you're upset about your Elementary School teachers?

Unless they beat you and mind-raped you on an hourly basis, they couldn't have been all that bad.

Let it go, man, let it go!

6. Hell, I have a hard time with my local paper PERIOD.
It's not just the "speak out" section. The whole damn paper is like that. Then they wonder why they're losing subscribers.
