You have to *know* she's the smartest person in the room.
When a political commentator does the best job of anyone on television in explaining what's going on at the Fukushima plants, you *know* there are few people smarter than her.

Thank you, Rachel. I am not ignorant of what is happening and why. You caused me to learn more than I knew before listening to you.

2. We have to remember ...
she's smart as well as beautiful.

Smart women turn me on... smart, beautiful women? I love them best.

I married one of them.

6. the obvious snarky reply..
.. If these women are so damn smart, how did they end up married to either one of you two?

Hey, someone was going to say it! At least I admitted it was snark.

4. I love that she always asks her guests if she got things right
in her introduction to them. What other commentator asks that question?

Unless it is Michael Steele (or someone similar) they almost always compliment her on her presentation of the facts which are about to be discussed.

5. Yes she is.
She's hot too. And I'm a straight happily married female. But there's nothing sexier than brains. Unless it's Adrian Grenier's eyes. :P

9. As I listened to Rachel, I was thinking about how intelligent she is to
be able to understand the nuclear disaster well enough to be able to explain it to us! Anyone can listen to the experts explanations, ut to understand what they say well enough to explain it to the general public is real talent.
