Bachmann & Palin's battle cry....YOU'RE NOT BEING FAIR...

Michele Bachmann fired back at the media Tuesday, saying her Revolutionary War gaffe was only reported because she is a conservative politician.

“We all know there’s a double standard in the media … as we know all 3,400 members of the mainstream media are part of the Obama press contingent,” she told The Laura Ingraham Show.

Over the weekend, Bachmann erroneously placed the battles that started the Revolutionary War in New Hampshire instead of Massachusetts — twice. "You're the state where the shot was heard around the world in Lexington and Concord," she told a Manchester crowd.

Bachmann alleged that the media didn’t make such a fuss when President Obama drastically overstated that 10,000 had died in Kansas tornadoes or said that he visited 57 states on the campaign trail.

“Only if a conservative makes a misstep is it considered interesting,” Bachmann said.

She said the media ignored the “great crowds, standing ovations, the wonderful time we had in New Hampshire.” But she did admit that, yes, she did mix up Massachusetts and New Hampshire in telling the story of the “shot heard around the world.”

5. for the vast majority of Americans
the first word association with Bachmann is 'batshit"

so, for purely entertainment purposes, the media, the public in general expects something utterly stupid to come out of that mouth
and she rarely disappoints

7. "3400 members"?!?
Dang, who knew the "mainstream media" was such a small world?

Do you think she has a directory? With email addys? Because I can see doing some serious communication if we only have to worry about 3400 "members"...

Gawd. Teh stoopid. 'tis AWE-inspiring.

And a little nauseating.

amazedly,
Bright

What I don't get is how either of them ever got this far. Its obvious they know jack about anything at all. They are an embarrassment to humanity.

14. Both of these world-class cretins remind me of Master Shake
from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Master Shake is the perfect idiot embodiment of everything Repiglican: cruel, mean as hell, totally selfish, ignorant, stupid (there's a difference between the two), utterly irresponsible and 100% fact-free. But Shake's non-sequiturs are a lot funnier than Repiglicans' are.

29. well, ya see, Concord is the capital of NH and it's a New England state, so...
the thing about New England is that there ARE lots of overlap of towns with the same name in different NE states. Concord, Groton (the prep school is in MA, the sub base is CT)and several others I have casually encountered on my trips up to Boston to see my grandkids...

She's dumb as a box of rocks, tho. Anyone smart would have that checked out by a staffer...

23. OK Michelle, let's review
I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out: Are they pro-America or anti-America?

I want people in Minnesota armed and dangerous on this issue of the energy tax because we need to fight back.

Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas.

But we also know that the very founders that wrote those documents worked tirelessly until slavery was no more in the United States.

This cannot pass. What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass.

If we took away the minimum wage — if conceivably it was gone — we could potentially virtually wipe out unemployment completely because we would be able to offer jobs at whatever level.

There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design.

I don't know where they're going to get all this money because we're running out of rich people in this country.

This is an earthquake issue. This will change our state forever. Because the immediate consequence, if gay marriage goes through, is that K-12 little children will be forced to learn that homosexuality is normal, natural and perhaps they should try it.

I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out under another, then under another Democrat president, Jimmy Carter. I'm not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it's an interesting coincidence.

The big thing we are working on now is the global warming hoax. Its all voodoo, nonsense, hokum, a hoax.

Carbon dioxide is natural, it is not harmful, it is a part of Earth's life-cycle. And yet we're being told that we have to reduce this natural substance, reduce the American standard of living, to create an arbitrary reduction in something that is naturally occurring in Earth.”

The President of the United States will be taking a trip over to India that is expected to cost the taxpayers $200 million a day.

I just take the Bible for what it is, I guess, and recognize that I am not a scientist, not trained to be a scientist. I'm not a deep thinker on all of this. I wish I was. I wish I was more knowledgeable, but I'm not a scientist.

27. Hmm that's funny
"Bachmann alleged that the media didn’t make such a fuss when President Obama drastically overstated that 10,000 had died in Kansas tornadoes or said that he visited 57 states on the campaign trail".

Is she for real? My brother still brings up the "57 states" LOL! How about the "TelePrompter President". Didn't she at least read about New Hampshire and it's history before opening her mouth? As usual she didn't. Just like I bet old Sarah still doesn't know what a VP does. I myself am not the brightest bulb, but I know in my heart and head I am not smart enough to hold high office. People go to school for years to get a good job, but these assholes think it's all about the look. So it's not fair to show she's a nit wit. I think Bush should have been exposed too.

But I guess it would be mean to do that. Better to let some asshole be President than embarrass the poor man. After all, what harm could it do? :sarcasm:
