the 50 Fukushima workers are all I can think about
It would be nice to know their names, see their faces - if anybody has a source.

I'm not religious and not a spiritual giant, but I'm holding a thought for the sacrifice these workers are making. For anybody who's had that 'turning point' moment of letting go (I know I have) then that must be what these 50 workers experienced.

I wish I could hug each one, like a father would, and tell them everything's gonna be okay. Don't know what to do. Any links to them would be good, if any.

3. I think they are a bit too busy over there right now to be posting names and faces
of the emergency workers.

9. There was no real detail - not surprisingly - but at least they were acknowledged.
I'm sure we will learn more about them later.

14. Chris Mathews on MSNBC is acknowledging their sacrifice again today
He even mentioned today (3-16-11) that they are, still, faceless heroes.

I have a completely whip-saw love/hate thing for that Tweety goofball.

5. A number of them will surely face accelerated death as this continues. I've been thinking a
lot about them too. I heard earlier today people are going to have to stay as everything is manually done now.

I'm not a religious or spiritual giant either, but I too am "holding a thought for the sacrifice these workers are making."

8. it's not just 50. they are rotating all the workers with the skills needed.
as each accumulates dose, they pull & put in new.

they are also recruiting workers from other areas + retired workers.

11. The Working Man and Women
They are the heroes of our lives, and they once again show the world who it is that does the dirty work.

Like the soldier on the front lines, the guys deep in the mines, and the pilots with the right stuff, these people face down the facts and plunge ahead to help everyone else.

The pols stand back and grab the credit and the capitalists stand back and grab the money, while the working man makes all the sacrifices.
