Well, it wasn't precisely in Japan, but he did discuss this in the disaster documentary "Catastrophe". Some of you who saw it recall that it was a documentary of the following incidents:

-Hurricane Camille
-The Hindeburg
-The Xenia, OH, tornado
-A series of accidents at the Indianapolis 500 race.

At the end of the film, the film discussed the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant and its vulnerability to a severe earthquake, much like the one that just occurred in Japan. It's worth checking out.
