Owsley Stanley is dead
The famous acid maker died from injuries due to a car wreck in Australia.
I took some of his product in 1967. Blue Cheer. He sponsored a band by that name------Wish I had a link.

4. Yes, we do, my dear Sonoman...
A good friend of mine says "Live in the moment."

And it's true.

2. I did Purple every single day in '68.

I heard about it earlier today.

Remind me to tell you about it next time we talk.

The first acid I ever did was Cheer.

8. Green Splash, Blue Splash
after doing the White Lightning a lot in the summer of '67 that was purported to have been made in the chem lab at Berkeley High, the Owsley Splash tabs were in popular demand.

The only orange I recall was orange wedges in '68 and black domes.

Blotter (Kodachrome, Wizard)and windowpane (Clear Light) came along after 1969 and were much cleaner in many ways.

I did lots of tripping between '66 and '76, and I'm sure I have felt Owsley's influence more than once. He truly believed part of him was dispensed with each dose. It was important for him that he give it the right vibe.

I wish we had more humans that let their spirit free like he did.

RIP Bear
