Sarah Palin is reportedly on the outs with Roger Ailes
Source: Yahoo News

Sarah Palin stirred up a hornet's nest of controversy when in the aftermath of January's deadly shooting in Tucson she posted a video on Facebook accusing the media of "blood libel" for linking her political rhetoric to the massacre.

* * *
"Lie low," Ailes told Palin, according to New York Magazine's Gabriel Sherman. "There's no need to inject yourself into the story."

According to Sherman, Ailes wasn't the only one urging the former Alaska governor to stay out of the limelight. She reportedly told Ailes that her attorney, Washington power lawyer Bob Bennett, had told her not to respond.

But Palin did it anyway--and in the process irked Ailes, who reportedly pays her $1 million a year to be a Fox News contributor. "The Tucson thing was horrible," a source close to Ailes told Sherman. "Before she responded, she was making herself look like a victim. She was winning. She went out and did the blood libel thing, and Roger is thinking, 'Why did you call me for advice?' "

In case you needed more evidence that Fox News and the rest of the corporate media is calling the shots for the Republican party. Fox News is nothing more than a propaganda outfit for its corporate advertisers and the Republicans presidential contenders will all need to kiss the ring.

For all the B.S. claims that MSNBC is nothing more than a liberal Fox News, it is hard to see Rachel Maddow laying down the law for Democratic Presidential hopefuls. Why don't we just cut the B.S. and put Fox News on the Republican ticket.

2. If there is one thing that is consistent about Palin...
...is that she ALWAYS bites the hand that feeds her. She claws her way to the top and
bats her eyelashes at those who control the next rung on the ladder. Then, when she
attains that next rung, she has contempt for the people that she just charmed.

She's a total neurotic mess and a complete fool.

"liberal FOX," or Joe Scarborough, Willie Geist, Pat Buhanan, Mort Zukerman, et al., would not be so omni-present. Never mind alums like Tucker Carlson, Dennis Miller and Don Imus.

What MSNBC did in an attempt to boost ratings, starting with, in 2003, adding Olbermann to its formerly all Bush-supporting lineup, has nothing to do with management or policy. (In those days, Matthews claimed he had voted for Bush and was "a lot more conservative than people think I am.")

Management and policy of MSNBC and NBC has been Republiican for a long time. (Contrary to the belief of some, Russert was a Republican, despite his employment, originally as a lawyer, by Moynihan and Mario Cuomo. Possibly, he was Dem in his youth-dunno--but he was Republican while at NBC and, for 30 years, leaked info to Novak anonymously. )

trusted him, much less forgiven him for his collaborations during the FAKE impeachment, Campaign 2000, Coup 2000, and his several love affairs with Shrub, Mc5planes, and multiple wingnuts. As he said, his family were "cloth coat (Rethugs)."

As for G.E.RUSSERT, even after LIMBOsevic had had astounding wingnut success in his early national exposure/syndication he was still considered a fringe and a wingnut kook throughout the then Lib media, and it was G.E.RUSSERT who started featuring him in hour long "interviews" that were played and re-played over the long Thanksgiving holidays.

Both of these a-holes traded over their pasts as flunkies for Big Dems, insofar as beng cited as "Liberals" while they were gnawing away at all things Dem.
