As the world around us crumbles

Torn down by the rushing wave

What you thought was good is gone

Find that you’ve become a slave

You will come to realize

That you should have stood for something

Might have played a part to stop it

Now regret that you did nothing

I imagine that this feeling

Likely could not be more low

But hell I’m gonna make it lower

Because I fucking told you so

I told you the collapse was coming

Told you bout’ the lies they sold

Told you to get rid of dollars

And to buy silver and gold

I told you that the fix was in

Told you that it all was through

Told you that this shit was coming

And that Jesus would not save you

Told you that the sky was falling

Chicken Little I was branded

I was cast out to the desert

Naked left alone and stranded

So forgive me for my anger

At the way that I was treated

All of them can rest in peace

Gone to someplace super heated

Good news is there is a way

That you can escape this fate

Get your ass up off the couch

Do it before it’s too late
