If there is one, if you are out there, please please do not let this nuclear mess get any worse than it is. Please have mercy... :(

1. I think we need a worldwide effort...

to get the people out of Japan - at least those who are closest to the disaster. Jesus, can't we all send our ships - cruise, war, I don't care. People are trapped on an island with nowhere else to go, and some will face certain death or radiation poisoning.

I wish there was a god, but sadly, I've seen no evidence of such, unless he is a petty, poncy god who only waves his hand to help a sports team win a game or some dumbfuck actress win an award, while ignoring the massive human suffering on this planet. If there is a god, he/she doesn't give a fuck about humans. And that being said, I'm asking whoever might be in charge to help.

8. If there is a God,
he'd likely say, 'you got yourselves into this mess, now get yourselves out'

14. I'd like to think
He would help after we took responsibility for the mess. By 'we' I mean humans, not any nationality.

4. I agree.
Unfortunately, when we fuck up, we pay the price. Disasters have always happened. But our foolishness and greed always, always make them worse.

5. I think most of the world will be fine, including the West Coast.
I think Japan is going to be in very, very bad shape after this, though.

It's an island, a good portion of which may become uninhabitable for a long time. Perhaps, for all intents and purposes, eternity.

7. Might be better to
pray to Mother Nature...she is pissed. She has been tortured for years. It's time for comeuppance.

All I have to say is that these MSM shows are CRAP. I'm watching MSNBC at 11:00 pm and it's crap. They think this is some kind of 'story.'

This radiation is going to circle the globe over and over and over and over. Radiation doesn't die.

The Fat Lady is stepping upon the stage.

9. Those kinds of comments are just as insensitive as the "retribution from God"
comments from Westboro types.

They take exactly the same form. You've just substituted the power offended and the means by which it has been offended.

13. You most certainly do. You see some sick justice in the death of innocents and

the creation of an enormous dead zone on our planet.

That's not justice, and no God OR benevolent Earth would believe it is.

This is a tragedy. It is sad, not just.

The military (Japanese and US) should now take over burying these beasts. It will end but we are just now starting on that road. We will hear worse yet before it starts to look better.
