Where the Hell is the IAEA
This is madness. Japan is reduced to hoping 50 workers can stop 6 reactors from having major problems. That the only news we get is coming from the company who owns the reactors.

What the fuck??

1. They have been slow on the pickup. So has the Japanese government.
But,ultimately, TEPCO could not properly ensure that its product was safe. Even with military help from multiple nations, they could not keep their product from endangering lives.

2. These Japanese Plants Were Built To Withstand An Earthquake But Not A Tsunami....
and that the main problem is that the tsunami knocked out the generators that move the water to cool the reactors. The earthquake even though it was more than the 7.9 threshold didn't cause the problem we are facing now - it was the fact that the water from the tsunami knocked out the generators. If it wasn't for the tsunami we might not be having this problem now. Is that true?

4. I hear you. But that doesn't change where we are.
We are up shit creek without a paddle. This really reminds me of the Gulf oil leak. We push and push. But, we sometimes are faced with the reality that we can't control or restrain the forces we are tapping into.

3. Their excuse is that Japan is not giving them timely info
but they should be there GETTING the info, but surely don't want a dose.

Y'know educated types not interested in dying for the cause.

8. Absolutely. Some expert on TV said he'd probably be unpopular for saying the same.

5. Undoubtedly sitting gray faced in front of their computers
because every single thing they've suggested to the Japanese has already been tried and failed.

9. They are still using hundreds of workers.
They are rotated in and out in groups of 50 to 60 to reduce exposure.

I crave an informed media source.
