I have to admit - I'm kinda liking Lisa Murkowski
She's like a giant "FUCK YOU" to Sarah Palin.

Don't get me wrong, I would never vote for her or support her as a candidate but she was a big help throughout the lame-duck session. And seriously, will someone tell that idiot Joe Miller to learn to shave. That look was somewhat hot in the 1980s but today you just look like a sweaty short-order cook.

1. The Republicans messed up when they turned their back on
her, she is now only obligated to her constituants and that is the way it should be. I love that Palin loses another one..ha..ha..

3. She doesn't owe the ReThugs ANYTHING now.
They tried to trash her and now it's pay-back time for her.
And I'll second that "fuck you" to Sarah McWolfKiller!

7. You don't cross a Murkowski. Ever. They will get even with their
last dying grasping breath. She will stick it to the pugs every chance she gets. But she won't do it because its right which is something I will take anyway. She is still a hooker for the corporations like all the rest but she carries a grudge. Big time grudge against anyone who DARES cross her.

8. Good...because that means Sarah
will find out "paybacks are a bitch"
I imagine Lisa has some dirt on Caribou-Killer that she would just as soon not have revealed.
Someone needs to buy Murkowski a drink to loosen her lips!

10. McWolfKiller made her bed when she supported that fake, phony Miller
Now that he is going down in flames, Sarah ( uncharacteristically) isn't flapping off her big mouth.
The "Tweeter-Twit" has been strangely silent!

11. Murkowski is doing the right thing. So far.
Republicans in the Senate and many republicans in her state abandoned her. Moderate republicans, democrats and independents in her state got behind her and pushed her through to victory. She owe her state supporters the type of policy that they expect from her, she should literally say F you to everyone else. My one hope is that she has become a more considerate person after her struggles in Alaska and having to embrace and be embraced by people that she could have ignored prior to her election difficulties. I would like to see her work to compromise on and craft sane energy policy instead of using her Senate privilege to block energy change legislation from even being debated. If Murkowski does things right, she could become a great american politician that people will remember as a great long after her days on this earth are past and long after Palin's name have become the butt of jokes.

12. Speaking as an Alaskan directly represented by her
in the Senate, I can confirm that she is definitely way more "repuke-lite" than most. And, funniest of all, althought I voted the straight Dem ticket, I was not disappointed or upset when Lisa won. She is, unlike so many repukes, a caring woman with a closer-to-Dem attitude than 90% of her fellow party members.

Love you all. Looks like we'll be homeless by March, but with some little support, maybe we can squeak by. And Lisa, believe it or not, is helping.

15. Not that staggering, remember this is Alaska
If it was California that would be staggering. But this is a state with less than 750k population - it's feasible.

17. She's Their Lieberman
It's gonna be amusing. Kinda fun to have a GOOPer who hates the teabaggers and looks like she'll delight in being a turd in their punchbowl. You can see the anger in her and if that means she'll vote right on issues just to piss them off...I'll take it.

While the GOTB created the teabaggers it's done so at its own peril. pissing off an establishment that wants their votes but sure doesn't want anything else. For years the rushpublicans have been trying to defy gravity...create their own universe and it's pushed this party off the reality abyss. Now the baggers have their nose in the tent and already making a mess of the place. 2012 will be brutal...and whatever "gains" were made will turn into disillusionment (it already has for some). Then what do they do?

Just like we saw a "moderate" or blue dog block form, I suspect we'll see a "reality-based" side pop on in their sandbox...a group of Senators who hold the swing votes and won't be afraid to use 'em. While the pundits were making it seem like there's some big rushpublican juggernaut on the way with more in the Senate and House, Boner and McChinless are gonna have a tough time keeping their ego-driven teabaggers in check.
