Report from Madison March 15: Union thugs, M&I Bank, etc (warning: lotsa pics)

Another day in Madison yesterday. Remind me to thank Scott Walker for pushing me on my new exercise program. All those laps around the square are doing me wonders.

There was a comparatively small group of protesters yesterday, but not without the enthusiasm and dedication of Saturday, when crowds were estimated at 200,000. I did speak to people from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, California and Washington state who were here in support of workers everywhere.

At 4:00 p.m. many moved across the street from the Capitol side of the square to march in front of M & I Bank (major Walker donor), chanting "You got bailed out. We got sold out."

Anyway, lots more creative signs were present, illustrating the people's frustration with the fascism of our governor and his cronies.

We were up there Sat. and Sun.(I'm from St. Louis, my sister lives in Madison). I am amazed that this has gone on for so long and is getting bigger in other states, but the MSM is not reporting it. Seems pretty big to me.
And yes, there is another huge event (Japan), but I think most of us can deal with one thing at a time. And I think they are more interconnected than it looks.We need to wake everyone up and show them, in many cases, OUR gov't cares more about what their sponsors want them to do than they care about our welfare, safety and the country in general.
