Kasich's beliefs at heart of plan
Source: Columbus Dispatch

By Joe Hallett

Ohio, at least in modern times, has never seen a state budget like the one Gov. John Kasich proposed yesterday.

The $55.5 billion, two-year spending plan is as much a social budget as a fiscal one, built on ideology as much as practicality.

Kasich's budget not only deals with how much more or less money is received by entities tethered to state funding - schools, universities, municipalities, prisons, health-care institutions - it also requires that virtually all of them do things differently.

1. I want to know

Who designed the new systems that these rogue governors are trying to implement? How many design reviews, simulations and systematic design adjustments were made? If they want to rewrite the system like this it might be nice if they could take the time to present their design for approval? Show everyone the statistics for the design process, etc, e.g. mathematically prove their new system will work better. They are not doing this. Just ramming it in like malware and that is precisely how it should be viewed by the voting public.

2. A Teapublican nightmare.... Kasich, RIck Scott, Scott Walker....
Kasich calls his new budget "The Jobs Bill". (Right out of George W's play book...(Think Patriot Act... not Civil Rights Infringement Act)

Kasich (formerly of Lehman Bros) gave away Ohio's 5 prisons to his buddies at Corrections Corporation of America.

He leased out the State-Liquor stores, slashed school funding, gutted nursing homes and cut funding to cities. He has basically left the cities to deal with the social consequences: increasing poverty, joblessness and crime, with no help from the State.

If Kasich and his friends at Lehman Bros and Goldman Sachs would quit sending all our jobs to CHINA.. there would be plenty of tax money for everyone. I digress...

The Teapublican goal.. a desperate, compliant work force that will allow any and all injustices...

4. You've got that right.
"A desperate, compliant work force that will allow any and all injustices" is exactly where we are headed.
We are losing our freedom in this country. It is being taken away by these elitist Tea Party governors, and the workers themselves don't even see it. What was once the middle class has been brainwashed.

6. Not the Tea Party. The American Legislative Exchange Council, which Kasich has been a member of for
many years:

You need to know about ALEC to understand what's going on in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin and other states.
