Man Gets $500 Fine For Swearing On County Bus
Some Bus Passengers Applaud Ticket

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee County sheriff's deputies are on the lookout for rude behavior on Milwaukee County buses, slapping a $500 disorderly conduct ticket on a man for swearing on a bus this week.

WISN 12 News talked to the man who was fined and some other passengers who are applauding the move.

"I cursed, and it cost me $500. Are you serious? Where in America do you get charged $500 for two words?" Terry Duncan said.

Duncan admitted the two words started with an "f" and an "s" but was stunned when he was ordered off the No. 80 bus Tuesday by an undercover deputy and was handed a disorderly conduct ticket.
