Ed Shultz - he is becoming a detriment to those who are fighting for the rights of those who are protesting. I am ready to turn him of on radio and TV. He seems to be on the republicans side.

I was a life time Dem turned the past year to an independent.
If Ed wants to spend his show bashing Obama - go ahead I won't listen. Why doesn't Ed spend that much time bashing the other sides?
Go ahead Ed - you are nothing but a republic in sheeps clothing.
Let me say again - at one time I was the biggest Ed fan but I am tired of him wanting to make a big name out of himself. You might want to check to see what some of the progressive radio people think of him. He is there for name and fame only.

I'm sick of his non-stop Obama-bashing. If I wanted to hear that, I'd turn on Limbaugh. Whenever somebody comes up with legitimate reasons for him stop the bashing, he just finds something else to pick at.

34. There's plenty of good solid Dems who are critical of Obama now, I know |
|
several. He's worthy of criticism, on some issues, taxes breaks for the rich for one, and his never-ending desire to compromise.
But there's still more to criticize the Rethugs about. I still prefer a smart compromiser to a dumb fuck publican

|
as I said he is turning me off. I watch Ed at night on MSNBC every night so please do not question whether I listen to him or watch him.
I am giving my opinion. I am wondering why he doesn't attack the other side like he does Obama.
There were unions and the 14 from WI who did not want Obama there. IT IS THE PEOPLE POWER not Obama POWER. The people need to speak out and if I remember correctly Obama did discuss this during the campaign.
I am just disagreeing here, Is that okay with you?

I used to like him, but once he got a taste of fame he went nuts. Now, he rants for ratings and only repeats what he thinks his Progressive followers want to hear.
We still have Jon Stewart. Sanity and truth on a friggin' comedy show. How embarrassing.

Joe Madison covered 4 hours of the program LIVE on a special XM radio channel 169 "The Power" show that Saturday and interviewed a number of the speakers. A number of local progressive stations have done the same, whether on satellite or OTA.
There were a bunch of folks who were out there, including Free Speech TV.
Sorry but Ed is one of a bunch of folks out there.

Although I'm not an Ed watcher, I think there are some who would undermine Obama on any pretext. Obama is going to speak in Rio -- Gasp! Obama didn't go to Wisconsin -- Whine! Although in some cases I am certain this is sincere disagreement with his actions, and I have not been reticent to criticize him on policy -- Sometimes it seems transparently anti-Obama-no-matter-what.

This DLC Dead-ender.
Ed was on last night interviewing the mayor of East Lansing Virg Borero, and it was scintillating.
That guy blasted the Michigan gov and then Ed listed all the other states where this same thing is happening.
If it wasn't for his steady drumbeat for Wisconsin and against the Walkers of this world, there would be no one.
I am so sick of all the DLC dead-enders hereabouts, and if you look they have always been anti-labor.
No surprise. Wish they would all follow Rahm to Chicago and play on the Dan Ryan Expressway during rush hour in a thunderstorm.
In honor of Nadin:
Oh, and you can always change the channel like I am doing to this post.
Garbage post.

because he is the only one doing good coverage of the workers fight.
In the run up to 08 he did a softball interview with Joe Lieberman after Lieberman threw his weight behind McCain. I refused to listen to him after that. Then a couple weeks ago all this shit broke out and Ed was the only one doing any serious reporting on it. Matter of fact you are the only person I have found who seems to think the opposite...
I agree that Ed is out for only Ed but he has been covering this fight better than anyone.

.....criticizes Obama. I don't believe you will find a single Democratic, progressive, liberal, leftist blog that worships the ground Obama walks on and never criticizes him. If that is what you want, then go start an Obama church. There may be some who agree with you. But MOST Democrats, progressives, liberals, leftists are clear-eyed enough to see the emperor without any clothes. That does NOT mean they are Obama haters.

YOU on the other hand are. Another person who apparently expects complete and utter worship or the person is a "hater" On the Republicans side? Are you smoking crack? Do you watch/listen to the man? In all of these protests the one thing you cannot truthfully say is that Ed Shultz is on the side of the Republicans. There are things he can be criticized for but being on the Republicans side in this labor battle is NOT one of them.
This OP is a fucking joke.
