Big Energy is a BIG CLIENT to MSM.
Do you ever wonder about those commercials on the cable news networks that are like "We're the feelgood mega energy conglomerate we're all about feeling good here is a picture of a child and/or flower."

They don't even tell you to buy anything!

I always wonder if they are spending all these big ad bucks just to be a major client to the MSM news media and what considerations these elite clients would expect during a crisis such as we are experiencing now. That has really been on my mind as I watch all the news people reassuring us in the West Coast that "the plume" or whatever is of no consequence.

I wonder if these companies wield as much power and influence with the media as they do with our politicians. If so, where can one get an opinion that is not biased in their favor?

1. Yep, and they spend those Big Bucks to cloud their malfeasance
which makes the MSM an ex post facto accessory.

I do think that's part of why they buy so much airtime.

3. Client and owner
Quite a few of the major players in the energy industry have at least a part ownership in various media outlets.
