And place!
(I would really prefer it be within the Chicago CTA map, because I live in the city and don't have a car)

8. How about Bar Louie in Oakpark?? |
|
Food and Drinks, cute place. Green line stop is about 2 blocks away. I don't drink, except weddings, but other people might want to. The area is pretty populated and busy.

Any Red Roof types near by? I love to travel, but I am cheap.

The closer you get to O'hare the more you will find. It's about 15 min away.

for one night. Now, is there a forum on DU that you can keep it up on? Like a state or other one?

But I live in Chicago and don't own a car, and I don't have a driver's license either. I really want it to be somewhere in CTA range.

I think every year DU'ers around this area talk about a get-together and then the next year passes and the same thing. I'd definitely cross post this in the Illinois forum.
Problem is finding a place where all can meet...city folk don't like going out to the burbs and visa versa. Then there's the north side/south side thing. But I'm all for it. Lots of great DUers in this region and be fun to meet.

17. Myself, I like the anonimity of DU. There's nobody I want to meet. I'm just not a people person. |
|
Ironically I am in Chicago for the Christmas weekend although I am from Wisconsin. For those who want to have a meetup, good for you. It's just not my cuppa.
