BBC: GM Suspending production Shreveport - lack of parts (from Japan)

2130: General Motors says it is suspending production at its Shreveport Assembly plant in Louisiana in the US next week because of a parts shortage resulting from the crisis in Japan, Reuters reports.

There will be a lot more bulletins like this over the next few weeks. Auto Parts, Semiconductors, all manner of parts come from Japan
