Suicide Is Painful, But Even More Painful On Christmas Eve

"Lauderdale County Sheriff Billy Sollie tells The Associated
Press that the case appears to be murder-suicide. He says he's
withholding their names until relatives are notified. Autopsies
were pending.
Sollie says the dead man and woman were parents of the children
but not married to each other. The boys were 4 and 5 years old.
Sollie says the man's father, who also lives in the home, found
the bodies when he returned from work Thursday afternoon. He would
not say how they died.
The home is outside Meridian in the southeastern part of
Lauderdale County, which is on the Alabama line"

This Christmas eve be known as the bloody Christmas Eve in Lauderdale County for many years to come

It's always hard to lose someone at this time of the year, especially like this, and especially when there are children involved. I have a daughter around that age, and can't even fathom what this family must be dealing with right now. My thoughts are with them.
