Saint Nick asked to leave mall for being a 'safety' concern
<skip>

But Lester’s hobby turned out to be his downfall, when he was told to vacate the Boynton Beach Mall Tuesday night.

Lester says he put on his Santa suit after doing some last-minute shopping.

“When I get through shopping, I just go sit down on a bench, I open my bag, put my jacket on, put my cap on, put my specs on. And that’s all I do is just sit there.”

But officials at Boynton Beach Mall say they received complaints from families waiting in line to see the mall’s official Santa, so security politely asked Lester to remove his coat.

1. Aw, just cuz he wan't "official".
Maybe kinda creepy, but all of the Christmas personalities are a little creepy.

2. I remember reading after Bad Santa came out -
There was a survey that some newspaper did, and they found out that something like 80% of mall Santas had criminal records.

3. I wonder
if one of his other hobbies include passing out candy at playgrounds?

4. What a bunch of douche bags at the mall
He was just sitting on the bench and would talk to kids and let parents take pictures for free if they wanted. He was cutting into the Santa biz and the Mall's profits I guess. Lumps of coal for all of them.

Merry Christmas Lester

6. Precisely. They were afraid those poor folks might actually get to

give their kids something memorable without having to fork over $25 for a "professional" photograph with Santa. Mall-Santa-photography is now on my list of things to discourage.
