Time after time, Doughboy Christie abuses NJ citizens when he attends meetings |

and continues to get away with it....ignorant, abusive, and maybe someone needs to sue his ass to get his attention....this guy is a clown, and shouldn't hold public office. (Background, watching News12NJ on my BASIC cable, satellite in 2 weeks, and they had a story about him yelling again.)

And my new gov is a bag of dicks, too. But I'd still rather take the high road and insult him on his policies, not his weight. Which is his to deprecate (I believe that's the word you want), not yours.
I am sick of it, so I will call it out every time I see it. I always enjoy your posts when I see them, but there are some things I've just grown tired of. So I'll see you next time, too, if I catch you. Cheers.

And you *did* write "depreciates." You did, you did. I know you meant "deprecates," so your wiki link is kind but misplaced. But as long as I was calling you on one thing, what's another between complete IRL strangers, amirite?

I'll tell you why.
1. I grew up in central Illinois, right on the Cardinal/Cubs faultline, the anvil upon which sports rivalries are forged.
2. My grandfather and I watch Cubs ball every weekend. He rarely ever spoke to me except about baseball (he was a taciturn, midwestern male), and this was all we ever shared. But the last time I saw him he was feeble and could barely speak even if he wanted to, but he still wept when I left because he knew he didn't have much time left. So I will see a Cubs WS for him.
3. Phillies fans are miserable piles of crapulence. Once a grown ass man literally stole a ball from my 11 year old daughter, a ball that Cubs pitcher Carlos Marmol had thrown TO HER, right out of her hands. When I confronted him he said "Aw, shucks, I had to get a ball for my boys." Asshole.
4. In September 2007, when the Phillies were in serious contention for the NL East but still several games behind the Mets I took daughter to a Cubs/Phillies game that was HALF EMPTY. We, the enemy, sat in the 6th row behind the dugout. All these fans moaning and whinging about how long-suffering they were and here was their team making a run for the pennant and they couldn't be bothered to support them. Meanwhile, year after sucktacular year I couldn't get tickets at Wrigley because they are always sold out. Terrible fans. Just terrible.
You watch. Once the Phils start to struggle the "fans" will disappear. But I bet tickets at Wrigley will still be hard to get.
