Worst-case scenario, and this thing blows and releases a catastrophic amount of radiation into the atmosphere - what happens to Tokyo? We're talking about tens of millions of people within a relatively short radius, especially if you include Yokohama. Does Tokyo become the Japanese version of New Orleans, with millions of people evacuating never to return? What effect would that have on an already battered Japanese economy (and by extension, our own economy)?
