1. I just want to remind those voting yes that this will end up costing the US billions of desperately
debated (ie. to cut or not to cut) dollars that you simply cannot afford. At some point, the empire/global policeman charade has to come to an end, be it by the citizens' choices expressed through prudent war cuts, or by the global financial and bond markets bringing the nation to its knees at fiscal gunpoint.

3. At this point I support it. ..
Those people are begging for someone to help them. If Gaddafi wins he will exact the most hideous revenge on everyone he can round up. I'm convinced he's a madman, and if anyone deserves to be assassinated, it's him.

We invaded Afghanistan for no humanitarian reason at all. No, I don't believe we were "attacked from Afghanistan" as Obama says. We were attacked on 9/11 from the good ol' US of A. But that's another discussion entirely.

4. I feel like it's tossing gasoline on an open BBQ pit, so no.
Flame away, but this seems like an astoundingly bad idea to me.

10. When Bush initiated the war on Iraq, polls indicated nationwide support @ 85%.
Obviously, many Democrats initially supported that act of war as well. The question I have is will they still support this effort when the pictures of dead women and children start appearing on Al Jazeera? Or will the call for war morph into accusations of war crimes?

Clearly, a majority of people from both parties do not learn anything from our previous blunders.
