is one of the advertisers on Rush Limbaugh, according to a DUer. I wrote to them last night, having read, here, that Rush broke his own records in inhumanity when he was mocking the Japanese. ProFlowers replied this morning stating that they would be reevaluating their marketing plan. It wouldn't hurt to encourage them to move their dollars elsewhere, right? 1. No. It was their idea to advertise there to begin with. Let them reap what they sow. |

5. F that. You're never going defund Rush. Let the advertisers feel the pain. |

I just sent them an email. We always use them, but no more unless they cease supporting the fascist jack-booted right-wing of the country.

6. Every time you send flowers, send an e-mail to Proflowers and say... |
|
I did not use your service because Rush advertises with you.

I have been a customer of ProFlowers for several years and have always loved your product. Now I have to reconsider if I want to continue as a customer. The final straw for me is the disrespect that Mr. Limbaugh has shown for the people of Japan with his mocking and disgusting jokes for a nation that is going through a very difficult and sad time in their history. It was bad enough that he was always spewing racists comments and receiving millions of dollars in the process, but this is too much. How can your company advertise on such a despicable program? As long as you have an affiliation with this program, I find I can no longer purchase from you. Sorry, but that is the way it is and how I feel. He may have "freedom of speech" but I also have the freedom to not support a company who is helping to encourage this kind of rhetoric.
