NEW YORK — Four New York Times journalists who were reported missing while covering the Libya conflict have been found, the newspaper said Friday.
The Times announced on its website that the four will be released Friday and that they had been captured by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi.
The Times said the dictator's son, Seif Islam Gadhafi, gave the information to Christiane Amanpour in an ABC News interview.
Libyan government officials told the United States State Department on Thursday evening that all four would be released.
