Realtor gets BofA's attention on YouTube
Bank apologizing after sending a foreclosure crew to Indian Trail home that had sold.

Outraged at Bank of America's attempt to secure a home that she had already sold, Concord Realtor Leigh Brown turned to YouTube and Twitter this week to vent her frustration.

The sale closed on Jan. 27, and the first-time homebuyers, Kacie and Christopher Justice, began moving in. Six days later, on Feb. 2, they noticed unfamiliar men outside their home taking photos.

They wore black shirts with images of handguns on the front and the word "Agent" emblazoned on the back, Kacie Justice said. Their truck was black with tinted windows. "It was just scary," Justice said.

The men said they were there to perform work on a foreclosed home - on orders from Bank of America. The tasks included removing furniture and capping some exposed wires. The Justices explained they were the new homeowners, and that the home had been a short sale, not a foreclosure.

This is really telling, that the bank has people devoted to "social media monitoring".
It means not just BOA monitoring, I can tell ya.
It means "social media" is something they are not happy with.
It tells how powerful social media is for all of us.

Am I the only one who's a little scared by this? It's like all the corporations of the world are scared shitless that we have a way to communicate unfettered by their bullshit and they're determined to do something about it. This world is making me sick.

I worked for a Furniture Warranty company. Part of my job was to locate people on the internet who were upset with their service. Believe me as bad as that company was, I was busy everyday!!!!!

Would you try to respond to them? Just report them? I really shouldn't be surprised by this, but I'm incredibly intrigued.
