Ok some educaton on this site... (nuclear monitor network)
http://www.radiationnetwork.com/

The numbers will fluctuate, go up and down. They may even have a very local event, (going over 100) for a second or two. Reality is that it has pretty normal numbers and unless you have a data correlation...

Realize even 100 cpm are not something to freak about... 10,000 I would start to freak out.

So while entertaining, unless you have a 100 that remains constant for over an hour...

They jump due to a solar flare, an x-ray machine core just driving by... a truck with medical isotopes driving by... wind... things like that. And for the most part the site has not shown anything of concern.

The cloud did reach the West coast today... the increase in background will give you that annual dose in 365 days, 12 hours, 59 minutes and all the way to the last second if it remained at that rate for a full year.

You guys know I do not poopoo this, but the reality is that what they were able to measure at one station was a very small spike.

I am still concerned about particles though... and I do hope they release info when they finally get to them filters.
