I'm fortunate to be spending this Chistmas day with family and friends who I love very much and who also love me and care for me and protect me as best they can.

I know there are many people on DU and many more not on DU this Christmas day that are away from their friends and loved ones for one reason or another, and that there are also others who feel they are completely without friends and loved ones today. For all of you who may be feeling alone now or throughout the afternoon and into the night, please know there are people thinking about you, even total strangers who may never know your name, who are wishing you a Merrry Christmas and hoping tomorrow or next week or next month or next year will be a better and happier one for you. You're not alone. ;-)
