Emotional overload.
Anger, pain, sadness, pity, confusion, compassion, and fear all tied together with barbed wire...

8. the world pivoted on a dime and we are down a different road
than we were. I don't have no hope. I am always hopeful. I just mourn for all the helpless people that have to pay for other people's stuff.

5. One of my friends on FB who is very politically and globally aware wrote two days ago:
"I think I speak for everyone when I say "AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and he did. I've felt drained and profoundly depressed and exhausted lately. I know that it's nothing compared to what the Japanese, very poor and union workers are feeling.

I've been having those emotions rolling around since I first found out the Tunisia uprising was going on in January.

9. If you don't want high blood pressure -- pay no attention to what goes on in the world -- !!!

Some say "politics" is the shadow cast over government by corporations -- !!

What are we suffering that we couldn't trace to corporations?

10. Yup. It has been an upsetting period of time. I'm glad I'm on meds or I would
be a puddle by now.

13. Yeah, boy!!
It is ratcheted up here for me personally as well, just unending, but I don't want to miss a thing outside of my tiny world, that got so much tinier for me and my troubled wife, just a year or so prior to when the sh.it hit the fan economically for tens of millions more.

My father was a WWII vet who did just prior to the turn of the century. I find myself envying him off and on even despite his growing up in the Great Depression. I really have loathed the 21st century so far for the most part.
